everyday writers welcome

Write Now Workshop empowers us to use our voices, speak our truths and be heard!

“You become a writer by writing, there is no other way.

- Margaret Atwood, Masterclass on Creative Writing

At Write Now Workshop, we believe writing as an art form belongs to everyone. Because of that, we care less about who, what, where or even how you write. For us, it’s simply a matter of when.

Why not Now? It’s where all our best writing comes from.

We’ll use the AWA Method to provide simple boundaries that allow our groups the sense of safety required to reveal our souls to one another through our writing. Each workshop, we’ll write. And without fear of harsh criticism or rejection, we’ll have the option of sharing what we’ve written with our fellow writers. It’s radically simple.

We’ll be amazed by how wonderful it feels to be writing and sharing in this way.

At Write Now Workshops we meet as fellow writers. We get to be writers who write. We get to be inspired by what others have written. We get to regain confidence in our innate and unique voices.

We get to remember that simply writing can be a blast!

“The act of writing is a tremendous adventure into the unknown, always fraught with danger. But the deeper you go and the longer you work at your art, the greater will be your treasure.”

Pat Schneider, Writing Alone and with Others

Devin Rondeau

Can’t wait to write with you at a Write Now Workshop! Wishing you happy and bountiful writing until then.

Writer & Facilitator

Devin writes really long emails, humorous essays and plays, mostly.  She earned a BFA in Drama from North Carolina School of the Arts and brings her understanding of the oral tradition of storytelling to her AWA workshops.

She believes everyone is a beautiful writer with an important story to tell. She knows the language we use to capture our stories on paper wants to be seen, heard and felt. She is delighted to be cultivating a community where individual creatives can deepen our practices and expand our capabilities, together.
